The first program of the Villa College Colombo campus in Sri Lanka has been inaugurated.
In this regard, in a special ceremony at Cinnamon Grand, Hellibron Tourism program was inaugurated.
Villa College is the first Maldivian education institute to open its campus in a foreign country.
Villa College will deliver undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of its affiliated international partners at the campus located in Havelock Road, Kirulapona.
The second phase of the project, which is scheduled to commence during mid 2015 will involve the development of a full-fledged campus with modern facilities including residential and recreational facilities. The project will be funded through the special educational project made available at the recent Commonwealth head of government summit in Colombo.
