Top achievers of last year’s higher secondary examinations have been given their prizes and certificates.
Minister at President’s Office Mohamed Hussain Shareef gave the High Achievement Awards to the 12 students. STO Managing Director Ahmed Shaheer awarded the recipients of the “Top in Maldives 2014” category.
Education Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham awarded the students who came in first place globally and the 45 students who won first place in the Maldives. The winners were given scholarships from Education Fund.
The Ministry reported that 2014 recorded the most number of students placing in the top 10.
