US Immigration & Customs Enforcement Attaché , Satish Mathai has said that terrorism and criminal activity have now been spread all over the world and the terrorist money trail should be identified to stop terrorism.
Satish Mathai made this remark speaking at the ‘Regional Cross Border Financial Investigation Training’ organized by US Homeland Security Investigations held at Bandos Island Resort and Spa.
He said that the Cross Border Financial Investigation Training (CBFIT) program provides specialized training, technical assistance, and best practices related to cross-border financial investigations to foreign law enforcement personnel, intelligence and administrative agencies, and judicial authorities.
Satish said that the program provides foreign partners with the capability to implement international standards, with special emphasis on new technologies, dissuasive actions, competent authorities, international cooperation, alternative remittance, and cash couriers.
