Jumhooree Party’s Parliamentary Group members have held a meeting with the Housing Minister Dr. Muizz to discuss matters related to the housing ministry and the concerns of the constituencies they represented.
The meeting was held at the Housing Ministry yesterday afternoon. Jumhooree Party leader and Parliamentary Group leader Gasim Ibrahim also participated in the meeting.
The meeting was held to discuss the concerns of the constituencies after informing the concerns to the minister.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, Abdulla Riyaz said that the minister sought the ideas of the councils and the peoples of the constituencies and their concerns and the problems they have been facing. He said that only the most pressing matters were discussed with the minister.
Abdulla Riyaz said that such a meeting was held because of some of the development projects included in the budget have been stalled and the people have been raising concern regarding them.
During the meeting, the members expressed the concerns of the people regarding the entry and exit problems in the islands and also harbor issues.
Dr. Muizz said that he is very delighted to have met with the members and will do everything in his power to resolve these issues.
