Health Ministers of India and Maldives holds meeting
Health Minister of India J.P Nadda has met his Maldivian counterpart Irthisham Adam.

The meeting was held in Health Ministry. Minister Nadda was welcomed to the Ministry by Health Minister and senior officials of the Ministry. Indian High Commissioner Rajiv Shahare, Deputy Commissioner Sanje Rana, First Secretary Amarnath and Minister Nadde’s personal secretary took part in the meeting.

In the meeting Minister Irthisham thanked India for their continued assistance in the country’s health sector and stated that she was guaranteed of further cooperation in the sector.

India has assisted in creating and maintaining Indira Gandi Memorial Hospital and Senahiya hospital and has been supplying doctors for the hospitals. India has also been instrumental in training doctors.

Minister Nadde had signed the visitor’s log in the Ministry.
