Attorney General Mohamed Anil has said that the youth are deprived from the right to employment and other rights.
He said that because of the violation of these rights and depriving them of these rights have resulted in many of the youth to face poverty.
AG made this remark at the inauguration ceremony of the five day Human Rights Youth Camp held at Girifushi yesterday by the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives.
“Many of the youth are job less. As a result, many youth are in poverty and similar sufferings,” he said.
Anil said that the constitution defines the rights of all and the youth should put some effort and stand up for their rights. He said that they should stand up for the rights that are being violated,
