Societal justice and respect are the keystones of maintaining independence. The most peaceful nations on earth are that way due to this factor being observed. When we look at nations that are in constant chaos, we have to reflect on the level societal justice is maintained in that nation. This is true across all nations.
Injustice and dictatorial regimes are the polar opposite of justice. Therefore, it is vital to eliminate this to create a thriving self-sufficient nation. This is most noticeable when we take Europe
into account. Almost all nations of Europe are peaceful, apart from those nations who attempt to interfere in the affairs of another nation. This societal calm is only made possible due to the proper implementation of laws and action taken against corruption.
This is something Muslim and Arab nations have to take into consideration, especially given the fact that Allah had commanded that leaders have to rule, without bias in the eyes of the law. This in turn would create peace and prosperity and obedience of public. The full benefits of this can only be realized when the nation is independent, with a judiciary that is empowered.
Islamic rule thrived when Muslims and Muslims rulers adhered to the word of God. This had disintegrated the moment Muslims rejected the decrees of God. The result is that Muslim nations are the focal point of major conflicts and difficult times, even though the nations are overall quite rich.
In such a world, it is expected that such influences would impact Maldives as well. Therefore, it is upon us to dwell on the current world and act accordingly to maintain the 50 years of independence for future generations.
