Family of Ahmed Rilwan Abdhulla, the Minivan News journalist missing since the night of 7th August, has offered MVR 50,000 for information leading to him.
Rilwan’s brother, Moosa Ridwan informed Miadhu Daily that the family has decided to offer MVR 50,000 for information leading to his brother.
Moosa assured that the name of the informant will not be revealed and the information will be verified with the Police investigating the case.
“We will keep the name of the informant disclosed. We will verify the authenticity of the information by verifying it with the Police investigating the case,” he said.
He said that it is a request of the family that anyone with the slightest information leading to Ridwan to contact the Police or the family as soon as possible.
Moosa said that the family tried to check the footage of all CCTV cameras in Hulhumale’ however to their dismay found no camera working.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla of M. Shining Star was reported missing on the 13th of August.
He was last seen wearing a turquoise shirt and black trousers and was last seen at about 0200 hours on the 7th of August as he got off the Hulhumale’ – Male’ ferry in Hulhumale’.
