Love, obedience to Allah, Prophet must come from adherence to Islam: Sheikh Ilyas

Sheikh Ilyas Hussain has stated that love and obedience to Allah and Prophet must come from strong observance of Islam.

He said that Muslims must obey and follow the principle ordered by Allah and demonstrated by Prophet Mohamed above worldly obligations and one self.

Sheikh Ilyas said that prayers and other tenets of Islam required unwavering faith to complete such acts. He also said that if a person has faith, then that person would not attempt on actions that are forbidden by Allah and that person would seek to live a life in the ways set by Allah.

Sheikh Ilyas also said that the reward for such faith was undoubtedly innumerable.

“The reward for faith in this world, is peace and happiness. A true believer does not lose hope or lives in despair. He will accept the situation facing him and rely on Allah through his difficulties. He will be content with his situation and the blessings he has. The reward for such faith is paradise. Therefore, we have to work hard to ensure that we reap the fruits of faith.”
