Hajj Corporation has unveiled their hajj, umrah kits and aqeeqah packages for distributing sacrifices made after naming babies.
The packages and kits were officially launched by President Abdullah Yameen and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim last night in a ceremony held in a ceremony held in Salsa Royal.
Bags, handbags, small bags for slippers, toiletries bag, umrah and hajj clothing, pen drives and notebooks with the dua’s are in the Hajj and Umrah kits.
STO has sponsored the kits. Managing Director of the Hajj Corporation Yameen Idhrees stated that the Hajj Corporation had prepared the kits and that these kits would be provided free of charge for all pilgrims. He added that the sponsor’s logo would be displayed on the kits and in future Hajj Corporation would seek out more sponsors.
Speaking in the ceremony, Hajj Corporation Chairperson Dr. Aishath Muneeza stated that Hajj Corporation was founded with the aim of sending more pilgrims to Hajj and Umrah at a lower cost.
Dr. Muneeza stated that it had been a year since the inception of the Corporation and that the success of the Corporation as the Corporation followed the best practices carried out in Malaysia and Singapore.
Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Ziyad said that the Corporation was thriving under the attention President and First Lady paid to the Corporation. He also thanked all who played a vital role in making the Corporation was a success.
