President’s Office Spokesperson Ibrahim Muaz Ali has denied the rumors that President Abdullah Yameen had ordered Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed to return home.
He made the statement via a tweet posted on his official twitter account. Another tweet added that the President had granted VP Jameel’s request to go abroad for medical treatment.
There are various media reports regarding VP Jameel’s trip abroad. There were rumors that he had gone to India, even though his official trip was scheduled for Sri Lanka.
