State Trading Organization (STO) has donated items to the Center for the Special Needs Persons managed by the Government in Kaaf Guraidhoo.
In a ceremony held yesterday morning in STO Head Office STO donated Philips hand mixers, Philips mixer grinders, Philips blenders, Hitachi gas cookers and Sanford Electric Ovens including STO Supermarket gift packs.
STO Executive Director Ibrahim Ziyath handed the gift packs to the Center, which were received by Mohamed Zaidh, State Minister for Ministry of Law and Gender, on behalf of the Center. Ziyath stated that this was part of STO’s social responsibility program.
Minister Zahid said that the Center appreciated such initiatives and noted that such actions contributed to the wellness of those in the center. He also thanked STO for the gifts.
