A Parliament session has been scheduled for today.
Even though the agenda of the session has not been made public, it is expected that the amendment for the change to age criteria of Presidents and Vice Presidents will be on the agenda.
Most of the public has signified that the bill that is most vital is the bill on the allowances for the differently abled children. Today’s session of the Parliament will be the first session of Ramadan. Initially, the first session was to be held yesterday.
At the end of the seventh session of the Parliament for this year, Speaker of the Parliament, Abdullah Maseeh Mohamed had announced the date and timings of the sessions for the Parliament for this Ramadan. This Ramadan Parliament sessions will be held from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm, with a break of one hour from noon to 1.00 pm.
The official working hours of the Parliament Secretariat will be from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm.
