Jumhooree Party (JP) Leader and Villa Foundation Founder Qasim Ibrahim has called on all the citizens of the Maldives to ensure that this Ramadan is a month to enrich the religious aspect of their lives and to strengthen relationships.
He made the appeal in a message issued via Miadhu on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Qasim stated that the month of Ramadan is a month where the mercy and the blessings of the Almighty Allah is open to all and urged all to make the best use of the month. He added that it was imperative that we prioritize forgiveness, empathy, kindness and strive to enrich the relationships we have.
Qasim said that there was no guarantee that we would be alive to observe the fast of next year’s Ramadan and therefore, have to make the best use of the month.
“I pray to Almighty Allah to give you all a peaceful and prosperous Ramadan, to forgive the sins and rain the blessings of Allah on to all,” Qasim’s message said.
