Opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has stated that the Party has filed the relevant paperwork regarding the planned sit-in protest organized by the Party.
MDP had not stated when they had filed the paperwork.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) has confirmed that MDP had filed the paperwork for the rally.
