Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has said that the ministry will try to propagate the knowledge of the Quran to every house of Maldives.
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Shaheem made this remark speaking at the function held at the meeting hall of the Islamic Center to hand over the donation of 50000 Quran copies to Malidves by Bahrain’s Quran Care Society.
Dr. Shaheem said that the projects of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to produce more memorizers of the Quran has been met with a huge support from the public and has been very successful so far.
“A system has been established where teachers in Male’ are able to teach to students in the islands. The results of this system has been very fruitful. We are trying to expand this project throughout Maldives,” he said.
He thanked the people for their huge support and cooperation to the project of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to foster the correct knowledge of Quran.
