“Fasmeeru” outlet has been rebranded to “Mifco Mas Fihaara” and formally opened yesterday.
The outlet was opened by State Trading Organization (STO) Managing Director Ahmed Shaheer in a ceremony held yesterday morning.
Speaking in the ceremony Maldives Industrial fisheries company(MIFCO) Managing Director Adhlee Ismail stated that this outlet was opened after expanding the floor space of the shop. As such, Adhlee stated that the shop had three times more space and would yield enormous benefits to their customers.
Adhlee stated that along with the new shop, three new products have been introduced to the market. He said that in addition to the Mifco Mas Fihaara, outlets will be opened in Alimas Carnival and in Mahchangolhi ward as well. He added that all products of Mifco will be available in all outlets.
In order to streamline the fisheries sector and grant more concessions to the public, Government owned Felivaru and Kooddoo Fisheries have been brought under Mifco.
