Bahrain’s Quran Care Society has donated 50000 copies of Quran to Maldives.
The special function was held at the meeting hall of the Islamic Center. A symbolic copy was handed over to the Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed by the Chairman of the Quran Care Soceity, Dr. Abdusamad Al-Hamd.
A symbolic copy was handed over to the schools of Male’ City and councils at the function.
Dr. Abdusamad, the chairman of the Quran Care Society noted the close relationship with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the organization.
He thanked the ministry for their hospitality and their cooperation with the Quran Care Society.
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Shaheem said that the Quran Care Society has decided to donate 100000 copies of Quran in total and the 50000 copies is part of this project.
