The members of the Jumhooree Party in the Peoples’ Majlis has submitted 1200 US dollars to the Majlis Secretariat to be donated to the Gaza Fund as per the decision of the Speaker to donate 100 dollars per member.
Jumhooree Party Parliamentary Group’s secretary general Hanimaadhoo constituency MP Hussein Shahid said that the Jumhooree Party’s Parliamentary Group members have made donations to the Gaza fund in their personal level too.
“We do not speak of it. However we have disclosed it as the members now have to donate under a fixed regulation,” he said.
