An agreement has been signed between the National Drug Agency (NDA) and the Maldives Police Service.
The agreement was signed at Iskandhar Building on the 19th of May. Head of the Malé City Police Chief Inspector of Police Fathuhulla Waheed and Mohamed Rameez from the NDA signed the agreement on behalf of the MPS and the NDA respectively.
Under the agreement Special Constabulary Officers of Installation Security Unit would be in-charge of security of the NDA clinic. The agreement will solve a number of security issues faced now.
The ceremony was attended by high ranking officials of the NDA and the Deputy Head of ISU. The ISU also provide security to the hospitals and other government institutions.
