President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom is scheduled to undertake an official visit to China from 15 - 18 August 2014.
President Yameen is undertaking this visit on an invitation from the President of China, His Excellency Mr. Xi Jinping, to attend the opening ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing City, China.
During the visit, President Yameen will hold official talks with the President of China and sign two bilateral agreements.
This is the first time both the Presidents are meeting since they assumed office in their respective countries.
President Yameen will be accompanied by Dunya Maumoon, Minister of Foreign Affairs and some other cabinet Ministers.
