The opposition national movement has stated that a much bigger rally will be held against the government tyranny soon.
This was revealed in last night’s rally held at Artificial Beach area against the Police brutality.
Former Minister of Housing and Environment, Mohamed Aslam said that the Friday night’s rally was not a failure as the government claims it to be but was a great success.
Aslam said that more than 30,000 people participated in the Friday’s protest while 20,000 participated in the Feb 27 protest. He said that a much greater number of people will participate in the next rally.
He said that it will be not easier to make a dictator listen to the pleas and demands of the people. He added that the people should not be disappointed regarding the time it takes.
“There will be days of disappointment. However, with difficulty will come ease and happiness,” he said.
