President of the Adhaalath Party, Sheikh Imran Abdulla has said that he does not have anything to discuss with President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom on a personal level.
He said that the President should hold discussions with the leaders of the coalition of opposition parties.
Imran made this remark in a letter addressed to President Yameen. He said that the Adhaalath Party was forced to work with the opposition parties because the President failed all discussions held with him by the Adhaalath Party.
He said that it is the coalition of the opposition parties who are now trying to bring President Yameen to the discussion table. He said that the President should then hold discussions with the leaders of that movement.
“I do not have any discussions to be held with you on my own personal level,” he said.
Imran noted that he received a letter by the Tourism Minister Ahmed Adheeb who said that he was appointed by the President as his representative for discussions with the opposition.
He said that he will hold discussions with President Yameen only when he sacks Tourism Minister Adheeb from the government.
