Biledhoo constituency MP, Ahmed Mubeen has said that the Jumhooree Party will not obstruct any minister from serving the people.
He said that the Jumhooree Party is a peoples’ party and will never do such a thing which will deprive the people from their rights.
Mubeen made this remark speaking at yesterday’s session of the Peoples’ Majlis. He said that Major General (retired) Moosa Ali Jaleel should be held in high regard and respect for his bravery and dedicated action shown on the November 3rd 1988 incident.
He said that Moosa Ali Jaleel should be given consent as the Minister of Defence and it is an obligation to give approval to his nomination as the minister.
“We believe that minister’s should be given the approval without procrastinating. If this is procrastinated then the people will be deprived of the services from that particular ministry,” he said.
He said that the Jumhooree Party is ready to cooperate with the services of the miniters that the party members gave their approval for in yesterday’s session of the Majlis.
