At the Twenty Second Sitting of the Second Session of the People’s Majlis held yesterday, plenary debate was held for the Bill on Health Professionals, submitted on behalf of the Government by Ahmed Shiyam, Member of Parliament for Naifaru constituency.
Eleven Members of Parliament spoke during time allocated for the plenary debate today.
The First Reading for the Bill was held on 30th June 2014 at the Sixth of the Second Session of the People’s Majlis.
Additionally, during the morning shift of yetsday’s Sitting, Hon. Rozaina Adam, MP for Addu-Meedhoo questioned Minister of Islamic Affairs Hon. Dr. Mohamed Ali Shaheem Ali Saeed regarding government’s proposed projects for Addu City and Addu Meedhoo.
Gasim said that economic zones should be developed throughout Maldives and investors should be fond to invest on them.
“As usual I am saying that we will support this amendment,” he said.
Gasim said that the Presidents will change after each presidential term and if more authority is given to the ruler than this will cause harm.
Gasim calls govt to make economic scholars or other than them is a problem.
