Hanimadhoo constituency MP Hussein Shahudee has said that the Maldivian health sector is in appalling state and the money spent from the pockets to get Aasandha will be too much.
He made this remark during the Second Session of the People’s Majlis held yesterday. During the plenary debate was held for the Bill on Health Professionals, submitted on behalf of the Government by Ahmed Shiyam, Member of Parliament for Naifaru constituency.
Eleven Members of Parliament spoke during time allocated for the plenary debate today.
The First Reading for the Bill was held on 30th June 2014 at the Sixth of the Second Session of the People’s Majlis.
Additionally, during the morning shift of yesterday’s Sitting, Rozaina Adam, MP for Addu-Meedhoo questioned Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Ali Shaheem Ali Saeed regarding government’s proposed projects for Addu City and Addu Meedhoo.
