Sheikh Ilyas Hussein has stated that tyranny will become rampant in the end of times and oppressors should never be obeyed.
Sheikh Ilyas made this remark speaking at the lecture held at Alimas Carnival last night which was entitled “It has drawn nigh.”
He said that oppression is not limited to physical oppression. He said that everything that is done without any due right is an oppression and a tyranny. He said that depriving the people of their rights and violating their rights is also from oppression.
“Allah has ordered not to obey oppressors. If oppressors are obeyed then fire will be engulf you,” he said.
“Violating the rights of the people will be common when the Judgement Day draws near. That is oppression,” he said.
He said that it is oppression to send police and army to intimidate the people and instill fear. He urged the police and army not to oppress the people but serve the people.
Sheikh Ilyas said that Allah will take the oppressors when they are most unprepared.
He said that many of the signs of the Judgment Day is witnessed throughout the world as in the Quran and Hadeeth.
Sheikh Ilyas noted that betraying trusts is also from the signs of the Judgement Day is also rampant today.
