MDP PG Group leader and Hinnavaru constituency MP, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih “Ibu” has said that the only solution now is for the people to come out against the government tyranny.
He made this remark at the press conference held yesterday at Adhaalath Party office by the “Maldivians, against Tyranny” movement.
Ibrahim Mohamed said that the Peoples’ Majlis is where the representatives of the people can voice out the concerns of the people however today this right has also been deprived from them by the government.
“If you are to look at the civil servants. Their rights have been deprived by the Civil Service Commission. The Commission has failed,” he said.
Ibrahim Mohamed said that the people are being oppressed in all walks of life. “If they seek justice, they are paid with tyranny and injustice,” he said.
“At this rate, the only solution is for all citizenry to come out against the government oppression and tyranny. And it is high time for the people to come out,” he said.
