State Trading Organization (STO) has opened a pharmacy in Hulhumale’ and laid the foundation of a pharmacy.
In the two separate functions held in the Hulhumale’ hospital, the pharmacy was opened and the foundation was laid by the Managing Director of STO Adam Azim and the Chairman of Hulhumale’ Development Corporation Hassan Ziyath.
The STO Pharmacy opened in Hulhumale’ is a 24 hour service based pharmacy with Aasandha health scheme services.
The pharmacy opened yesterday is a temporary pharmacy opened until the opening of the pharmacy which is being built in Hulhumale’ by STO.
Adam Azim said that the project expenses will be over 1.5 million Maldivian Ruffiya and STO is trying to open the pharmacy as soon as possible.
He said that although the current population of Hulhumale’ 30000 in two years’ time the population will rise to 50000. He said that the new pharmacy will be opened considering this fact.
