Education Ministry has opened higher education loan schemes for 375 students.
The ministry stated that this is the first batch of opportunities the ministry will be providing this year under the higher education loan scheme.
They added that this includes 60 opportunities for students already studying and 315 opportunities for students who want to study higher education anew.
Current students whose students began before the first of this month can apply for the loan and among them students studying in Maldives will get 50 openings.
This includes 20 opportunities for diploma students, 20 opportunities for Bachelors degree students and 10 opportunities for 10 Masters Degree students.
Current students studying abroad will get only 10 opportunities. That is only for Bachelors students.
