Deputy Leader of the Jumhooree Party, Ameen Ibrahim has said that the President Yameen Abdul Gayoom has been degraded in front of the investors because of his tyranny against Leader of the Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim.
Ameen said that the people have lost their trust on President Yameen. He said that Yameen has no value in front of the people and also in front of foreign investors.
He said that the whole world knows that Yameen is a despotic ruler because of his tyranny towards the people.
“His economic chart has no value anymore. The moment he framed his own Defence Minister Colonel Mohamed Nazim and his tyranny against Gasim Ibrahim has brought an end to the trust he earned from the people,” he said.
“From this point on, there’s no use for the citizens to expect any political progress from President Yameen. There’s no point in trusting him. We can no longer believe that foreign investors have enough trust in Yameen’s government to invest in our country.” said Ameen.
Ameen said that the trust of the international community has come to an end with the sentence of thirteen years on President Mohamed Nasheed.
“The chapter he was writing in the international community came to an end with the sentence on former President Nasheed,” he said.
