President Abduall Yameen Abdul Gayoom has said that a pilot project to train 500 pharmacists will be conducted within this year.
The President made this remark speaking at the Milo Colours Award 2013 ceremony held at Dharubaaruge yesterday.
President Yameen said that all pharmacies to be opened by STO in all inhabited islands will be completed within the end of next year. He said that it is important that Maldivian staffs are created for these pharmacies as they open.
The President said that the government wants to create job opportunities to the youth and the government requests the youth to make an effort to apply for them and to take the best of the opportunities provided.
He said that the youth should build their careers and work to further develop themselves and reach new heights.
He said that the Education Ministry has informed him that the project to train 500 pharmacists will be conducted within this year.
