CETNews: The Maldives mobile base grew to 681,435 subscribers in February, from 673,689 in January.
Mobile teledensity rose to 202.67 in February from 200.37 in January, according to figures from the Communications Authority of Maldives.
Of the total mobile subscribes, 79,479 are postpaid subscribers, and 601,956 are prepaid users.
The number of fixed telephone lines (including payphones) fell to 22,461 in February 2015 from 22,565 in January 2014, while fixed-line teledensity climbed to 6.73 in February from 6.71 in January.
