Speaker of the Peoples’ Majlis, Abdulla Maseeh has said that the Maldives has a big humane heart.
Speaking on the Help Gaza Telethon, Majlis Speaker Abdulla Maseeh said that the Maldivians are proving their humane side by uniting together to help the oppressed Palestinians against the atrocities of the Jewish Occupation.
Maseeh said that the Maldives although is a small state, the country has always proven that their humane blood is very bright.
“The humane heart of Maldivians is very big. The humane blood of Maldivians are very bright. The humane ear of the Maldivians are very sharp. Maldivians are doing all they can to help the Palestinians,” he said.
Maseeh said that the proud humane flag of the Maldivians are raised high in the international community. He said that he is proud of being a Maldivian.
Maseeh said that the plight of Palestinians in Gaza is saddening and heartbreaking. He said that the schools and hospitals of Palestine is today turned in to grave yards.
He expressed his gratitude to all those who participated in helping the people of Gaza against the atrocities of the Jewish Occupation.
