Education Minister, Dr. Aishath Shiham has said that the schools are where the importance of unity and helping one another is taught to the students.
She made this remark speaking at the Help Gaza Telethon. The Minister handed over the donation to the fund on behalf of the schools of Maldives.
“Our schools are where our children learn the importance of unity and the importance of helping one another, the Minister said.
Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham said that she is very happy that the education sector got the opportunity to the help the oppressed people of Gaza.
She said that all of the schools of Maldives have given a huge support to the fund.
The Minister said that the island schools have made many efforts to help the Gaza fund in a short period of time.
“Our happiness is that this fund will get some relief to the people of Gaza,” she said.
