Adhaalath Party President, Sheikh Imran has said that the government should listen to the people instead of listening to gangsters.
Sheikh Imran said that President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has forgotten the sacrifices and hard work of Jumhooree Party and Adhaalath Party to bring him to power. He said that it is very possible that Yameen has also forgotten the hard work of PPM President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom to campaign for him during the election.
He said that President Yameen has been rejecting the advices and counsels of former President Gayoom.
“He does not accept guidance from anyone. He is now rejecting the counsels of Gayoom as well,” he said.
Sheikh Imran said that President Yameen has made President Gayoom as a person who holds no status in the Maldives.
“Yameen is governing according to the whims and pleas of Adheeb and his gang. And if this continues, the people will suffer more and more,” he said.
He said that the situation of Maldives have gone this far because President Yameen rejects the counsels of President Gayoom.
