Adam Azim said that today the Police can put a gun on anyone’s neck if they want and they can frame a person for possession of illegal weapons.
Adam Azim made this remark while explaining that the accusations against his brother, Colonel Mohamed Nazim of possession of illegal weapons are baseless.
“What is happening in our nation? Is this not a big joke?,” he asked.
Adam Azim said that the authorities can chop off areca nut palms in the streets but the authorities should know that a day will come when they will have to face justice.
“You can raid any house you like and frame any person you want. You can arrest anyone you please and oppress any one now,” he said.
Adam Azim said that after perpetrating these crimes the real culprit will in the end put all the blame on the poor Police officers involved and he himself will absolve himself from blame.
