The Family of the former Defence Minister Colonel (retired) Mohamed Nazim has requested the Defence Force to save him from the accusations made against him.
Former MD of STO and brother of Nazim, Adam Azim made this call on behalf of his family.
Adam Azim said that a people have framed Nazim and the accusations made against him are totally baseless.
“Nazim served the Defence Force for 25 years. Therefore we request the Defence Force to help him in whichever possible,” he said.
Adam Azim made this call at last night’s activity held by MDP seeking justice for President Mohamed Nasheed and Colonel Nazim.
Witnesses stated in the last hearing of the case that the pistol found from Nazim’s residence was loaded and agreed that no professional person will keep a loaded and used pistol like that when Nazim’s lawyers asked the witness.
