Jumhooree Party Deputy Leader Ameen Ibrahim has called the government authorities to save the people the fear and insecurity they are living in ascertain their right to live.
Ameen Ibrahim condemned the attempts to attack Galolhu Dhekunu MP Ahmed Mahloof last night. He said that the right to live should be guaranteed and if that right is deprived than all the rights granted by the constitution will be violated.
He said that at one side the golden jubilee of the independence of Maldives is being celebrated with various activities while on the other side the people are living in fear and insecurity.
Ameen said that the people are raising concern and worried regarding the situation the country is witnessing today.
He said that oppression is rampant in the society and the situation is so worse that every person that truly loves his nation is in tears.
