Deputy Leader of the Jumhooree Party, Kinbidhoo constituency MP Abdulla Riyaz who is also a member of the legal team of Colonel (retired) Mohamed Nazim has questioned whether financial assistance of Villa Air and STO and also foreign aid have to be sought to buy a pistol which is available for about 378 Dollars on the internet.
Many are raising similar questions as Commissioner of Police (retired) Abdulla Riyaz regarding the trial of former Defence Minister Nazim.
Many also raise question as for the reason why Police did not question any of the alleged people who have been plotted to be killed by Nazim and whose information were allegedly found in the pen drive confiscated from Nazim’s residence.
According to the reports the plot to allegedly kill President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, Commissioner of Police and Minister Ahmed Adheeb was found in the pen drive.
Many say that if the charges are this serious and big, then the authorities should have dealt with it differently than how they are doing it now.
