President of the Adhaalath Party, Sheikh Imran Abdulla has said that many officers from the Police and the Army believe that former Defence Minister Colonel (retired) Mohamed Nazim was framed.
Sheikh Imran made this remark in a tweet posted on his official twitter account yesterday.
While many people also have the same sentiments regarding the charges against Nazim, yesterday the legal team of Colonel Nazim revealed some evidences that increases the certainty of the people that he was framed.
Head of the legal team, Maumoon Hameed told the media that they have received information that the swat team members who raided Nazim’s residence received bank transfers.
There are now difficulties in getting detailed information regarding the ongoing trial of Colonel Nazim.
While the Prosecutor General warned the legal team regarding their last press conference, the Judges presiding over the trial of Nazim also warned them.
