Legal team of former Defence Minister Colonel (retired) Mohamed Nazim has said that they still have not got the details of the evidences regarding the case by Maldives Police service.
The legal team in a tweet questioned regarding the reason why the Police are withholding information.
Nazim’s wife yesterday submitted a case against the Prosecutor General for accusing an innocent of a crime following the Prosecutor General’s withdrawing of the charges against her.
Nazim’s legal team said that the purpose of that case is to make the Prosecutor General accountable and responsible for his actions.
The legal team stated that the Prosecutor General should grant Nazim;s wife the rights he violated from her by accusing her of a crime she is innocent of.
