Jumhooree Party leader Gasim Ibrahim has met the Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday morning.
During the meeting, Gasim Ibrahim and President Sirisena discussed regarding the ingoing political crisis in Maldives.
Jumhooree Party Parliamentary Group’s Deputy Leader Abdulla Riyaz also participated in the meeting.
According to the Sri Lankan media, Sri Lanka President Maithripala Srisena will be sending a sending a high level delegation to Malé to express deep concern on the arrest and harassment of political leaders.
