The twitter account of the Jumhooree Party leader Gasim Ibrahim has been hacked.
Jumhooree Party Deputy Leader Ilham Ahmed called the public to remain alert regarding the matter.
Ilham said that some people might do much more than just hack into Gasim’s twitter account, in attempts to dishonor him.
He said that a people are using a pickup to give a wrong message regarding the Friday’s mass gathering organized by Jumhooree Party and the MDP.
Jumhooree Party stated that Gasim’s twitter account was hacked sometime last night and they are now looking into the matter.
The party added that what the hackers have tweeted using Gasim’s twitter account, is not the type of statement Gasim would ever make.
JP said that their leader would never support unconstitutional or illegal activities, ever.
