Jumhooree Party has stated that the mass symposium which is to be held and organized by the Jumhooree Party and the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) on February 27 will be held within the confines of the law.
Jumhooree Party registrar Ahmed Saud said that many from the islands have already come to the capital Male’ to participate in the event and more are still coming.
He said that the gathering will be held within the confines of law despite the claims that JP and MDP are gathering people to orchestrate a coup. He said that these rumours are spread to cause unrest and fear in the hearts of the people.
Jumhooree Party called as many as people to participate in the mass gathering to be held on 27 to voice out against the constitutional breaches of the government.
Ahmed Saud said that it is very clear to the people who are holding gatherings against the law. He said that a people are spreading lies against the event because they unable to digest the fact that the majority are against them.
