Bilehdhoo constituency MP, Ahmed Mubeen has said that if the government fails to hear the voice of the people then the nation will be plunged into instability and unrest.
Ahmed Mubeen said that it is very unfortunate that the government has been giving a deaf ear to the pleas of the people.
He said that unrest and instability will not only occur on the streets but also in the Peoples’ Majlis if the government continues to block the voice of the people.
Mubeen said that it is obligatory upon the government to call to all party talks and the government should stop refuting the people on podiums.
He said that many of the people who voted for the government are those who did so because the leader of Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim pleaded them to support President Abdulla Yameen in the election.
