Department of Immigration and Emigration has brought changes to the passport issuance process and strengthened the security of the system.
Media officer from the department, Hassan Khaleel said that they are working to provide easier application system for passports with the increase in the number of applicants. These changes include not having to submit the identity card.
Moreover, discussions are held with the agencies taking applications to have a system to enter details of the applications.
Hassan Khaleel said that then the department will not have to enter any details which will save time.
