Jumhooree Party and Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) have established a joint commission to protect and uphold the constitution.
The members of the commission from Jumhooree Party are party leader Gasim Ibrahim, Abdulla Kamaludheen, Deputy Leader Ameen Ibrahim, Deputy Leader Ilham Ahmed and PG Group Deputy Leader Abdulla Riyaz, Majlis member Hussein Mohamed and Majlis member Ali Hussein/
MDP Leader, Mohamed Nasheed, Chairperson, Ali Waheed, PG Leader, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, MP Mariya Ahmed Didi, Male' City Mayor, Mohamed Shihab, MP Abdulla Shahid in addition to MP Mohamed Aslam are in the commission on behalf of MDP.
Jumhooree Party and MDP joint commission will be investigating the issues that the government opposed the constitution.
