Deputy Parliamentary Group Leader of the Jumhooree Party, Kinbidhoo constituency MP Abdulla Riyaz has said that the Jumhooree Party is making efforts to relieve the people from their worries and concerns.
Abdulla Riyaz said that the decision of the Jumhooree Party joined with MDP to protect and uphold the constitution in this regard. He said that the Jumhooree Party made this decision at a time the government has been opposing and violating the constitution.
“Our ideology is the ideology of the people. The people are in despair. Capable individuals are being rejected and not getting jobs because they are not from a particular political party. The Constitution is violated,” he said.
He said that the leader of the Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim always gives precedence and importance to thoughts of the people.
“The decision to work with MDP was taken in this regard,” he said.
Abdulla Riyaz said that the main reason for the suffering of the people is the government trying to unify all powers of state as one power.
