Jumhooree Party and MDP joint commission has decided to investigate the issues that the government opposed the constitution.
At a press conference held at Jumhooree Malan at M. Kunooz, the Deputy Leader of the party, Ameen Ibrahim sat that the two parties have held a joint meeting with the leaders of both parties. He said that the meeting was very successful.
Ameen Ibrahim said that the two parties both decided to kick start a fresh investigation of the constitutional oppositions by both the government and those connected to the government. He said that this investigation will be carried out by a commission of professionals.
He said that the commission will hold weekly meetings. He said that a presentation will be given in the next meeting.
“then it will be easier to identify the issues that can be taken to the judiciary or what can be resolved from within the Peoples’ Majlis. And also that which needs the participation from the general people,” he said.
Ameen said that it is very important to identify these matters so that both the parties have a clear insight and foresight into the issue.
Ameen said that they trust the judiciary and will respect the court rulings.
